Happy New Year!
Finally I am sharing my thoughts with you on places to enjoy a good meal! My husband and I live in Post Falls Idaho where diversity in dining experiences can be a challenge. Having said that we have some delicious,local restaurant experiences. I will be sharing those in a little bit, but first let me share a little about me. Having grown up in the East, Pittsburgh was home for my childhood years. Talk about fun and meaningful dining experiences, it held many. I will give you a sampling later on. My father and mother loved to explore different ethnic dining experiences so I come by it naturally to do the same . My mother was a wonderful cook ! She made eating a family affair by inviting my sister and myself to choose a part of the meal and make it , we would often find unique recipes from foreign countries to impress our parents !
In my youth there was a magazine called Gourmet. I think it may still be on the stands but it is totally a different format. In my youth the magazine would highlight exotic places to visit world wide and go into depth on the food , ambiance , location...........well I am not sure how my blog will work ,but I do hope you come along for the ride and see if it appeals to you.
